Flan is a dessert that is traditional in many countries. And there are so many different variations of recipes out there for flan. I am here to show you the best and easiest way to make flan. This was one of my favorite desserts growing up. This will be the easiest flan recipe you will ever make and you won’t ever want to try another recipe. I am serious you guys, this recipe only has a few ingredients that you can always keep on hand and it’s honestly so quick.
This post is all about how to make the best flan quickly and easily.
To Get Started
Gather all your ingredients
Ingredients:
1 can condensed milk
1 can regular milk (2% or whole)
4 eggs
Liquid caramel
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- Whisk all ingredients together
- Coat the bottom of your flan mold with the liquid caramel
- Pour the flan mixture through a sifter (this removes any clumps and will make your flan silky smooth)
- Add sifted flan mixture to your flan mold
- Bake in oven for 1 hour or until set in a water bath
Tips:
- Double the recipe to make a larger flan (this depends on the dish/form you are using)
- Use the empty can of condensed milk to measure and pour the full can of regular milk
- If you cannot find liquid caramel at your local grocery store, no problem! Simply make your own by caramelizing water and sugar in a small saucepan over low heat.
